The latest painting was Night into day but I’ve changed the name to the one that kept affecting how I was painting: Traffic. It started off softly colourfully, but while it looked OK, it had no heart and didn’t take me anywhere. I painted over it bit by bit, and by the end was feeling very excited.



The jacarandas are out at the moment - it has been a really good year for them...probably because we have had a lot of rain over the winter and spring.
